The hike begins in a brook in the Sacred Valley, at 3,059 meters above sea level where we began to ascend for about three hours. On the way the landscape is very varied, we will cross Queuñas forests, with impressive views of the valley and boulders, some with cave paintings that lead us to the Yanacocha lagoon, hidden between the mountains and where we can enjoy lunch.
Later, we skirt the mountain and cross it walking on its crest, surrounded by unbeatable views of the valley and snow-capped mountains such as Chicon. From this point, the path goes downhill to our final point. Little by little, the cultivated fields are more frequent, the changes in the vegetation are also very noticeable. On the route, it is possible to see several species of birds, deer, among others.
The final section of the tour continues downhill to the foot of the mountain, where we will find a cozy country house where you can spend the night or board the vehicle that will take you back to Cusco.
